Shaun James Grant is a Writer, Director, and Film Photographer based in London.

His work is driven by a search for emotional authenticity, striving to create compelling worlds where characters face difficult, often unanswerable social dilemmas. Rather than imposing judgment within his work, he seeks to observe with empathy, capturing the subtle nuances that reflect the fragility and complexity of human imperfection.

Fresh from his acclaimed work on The Devil’s Hour for Amazon, he is currently directing three episodes of an upcoming Apple TV+ series, while also developing original material for features and limited series. He continues to pursue his practice in film photography, a discipline that sharpens his cinematic perspective and informs the texture of his work.
